New lens.. Nikon 50mm f1.4 AIS

I have been meaning to get hold of a “nifty fifty” for a very long time and finally one cropped at London Camera Exchange at a bargain price. The extra speed of the f1.4 and the creamier bokeh (background) blur have always had me searching for one of these. More than chuffed to get hold of the lens – should make a great addition for use on my 35mm film Nikon F301 and also even though its manual focus, I definitely will be giving it plenty of use for video and stills on my trusty Nikon D7000!
